The Anthony Gallo Acoustics Strada 2 is the latest version of the acclaimed Strada loudspeaker, designed to deliver impressive power handling and improved sensitivity of 90dB. It features two 4-inch dynamic hyperbolic carbon fiber woofers and a patented CDT3 cylindrical diaphragm tweeter that provides 180-degree horizontal dispersion from 6kHz to above 20kHz. The enclosure is sealed with auxiliary bass cavity supplementation and patented S2 loading, housed in a powder-coated cast aluminum chassis with brushed stainless steel spheres and grilles. The Strada 2 is magnetically shielded and designed to perform well in any room or system, producing a full-bodied soundstage without the need for a subwoofer. It incorporates Gallo's proprietary Optimized Pulse Technology (OPT) to integrate low, mid, and high frequencies into a unified sound source, enhancing the visceral impact of live sound. The speaker is compact at 127mm wide, 343mm high, and 191mm deep, weighing 5.2 kg. It can be used as a stereo speaker or part of a home theater system, with options for wall mounting or table stands. The Strada 2 is praised for its clarity, natural sound, and ability to deliver large-scale dynamics despite its small size.
