About the Statement D2v
The Anthem Statement D2v is a flagship surround sound processor designed for audiophile home theater and multi-room audio systems. It features eight HDMI 1.3c inputs and two parallel outputs with Deep Color support, a Sigma Designs VXP video processor for professional-grade deinterlacing, noise reduction, and upscaling to 1080p. Audio capabilities include dual dual-core DSP engines (800 MIPS) for decoding Dolby TrueHD, DTS-HD Master Audio, and 7.1-channel 24/192 PCM. Standard Anthem Room Correction (ARC) optimizes speaker response in-room. It supports 3-zone/4-path operation, extensive customization, and THX Ultra2 certification. An upgrade from the original D2, it includes later variants like D2v 3D with HDMI 1.4a for 3D support. Now discontinued, it was praised for exceptional two-channel and multichannel performance.
