The Anthem PVA-7 is a high-quality 7-channel power amplifier designed and manufactured in Canada. It features a Class AB design with four high-current bipolar output transistors per channel to ensure low distortion and excellent sound quality. The amplifier delivers 105 watts per channel into 8 ohms and 140 watts per channel into 4 ohms, making it suitable for driving even difficult-to-drive speakers. It uses a custom low-noise, high-power 800VA toroidal transformer shared across all channels, providing stable and noise-free operation. The PVA-7 includes Advanced Load Monitoring technology that monitors internal temperature, current, and voltage to protect the amplifier and ensure reliable operation. It offers three power modes: manual, triggered, or signal-sensing auto on/off. Inputs are unbalanced RCA for all seven channels, and speaker outputs use binding posts compatible with bare wire, banana plugs, and spade lugs. The amplifier has a very low total harmonic distortion of 0.03% and an excellent signal-to-noise ratio of 122 dB, contributing to its natural, neutral, and musical sound signature. It weighs 47.3 lbs and measures 17-1/4" W x 5-7/8" H x 16-3/8" D.
