The Anthem MRX 510 is a 7.1-channel AV receiver from Anthem's second-generation MRX series, featuring Anthem Room Correction (ARC) for precise room acoustic calibration and high sound quality for both movies and music. It provides seven amplified channels (rated around 75–100 W per channel depending on measurement conditions) and can also function as a preamp/processor via its multichannel pre-outs. The MRX 510 includes 7 HDMI inputs and 2 HDMI outputs with support for 4K (30 Hz) and 3D video pass-through and upscaling, along with multiple digital (optical/coaxial) and analog audio inputs. ARC connects via a wired network and PC software using Anthem's calibrated microphone, allowing detailed speaker distance, level, and EQ adjustment; later ARC Genesis software also supports the MRX 510. Speaker terminals support 7-channel layouts with assignable channels for surround back or Zone 2, and there are pre-outs and a subwoofer output for system expansion. Protection and monitoring features are provided through Anthem's load monitoring and robust power supply design, contributing to reliable operation under demanding loads.
