About the D2v
The Anthem D2v is a multi-channel preamplifier, audio/video processor, and tuner designed for audiophile and home theater applications. It features eight HDMI 1.3c inputs and two parallel HDMI outputs with Deep Color support and high-definition audio streaming. The D2v includes a Sigma Designs VXP broadcast-quality digital video processor offering professional-grade adaptive deinterlacing, 3D noise reduction, mosquito noise reduction, block artifact reduction, adaptive detail enhancement, and adaptive contrast enhancement. Audio processing is powered by two dual-core DSP engines delivering 800 MIPS, enabling 7.1-channel decoding of Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby TrueHD, DTS-HD High-Resolution Audio, and DTS-HD Master Audio, with support for 24-bit/192 kHz PCM input. Anthem's proprietary Room Correction System (ARC) is standard, providing speaker-specific in-room frequency response correction for optimal sound. The D2v also supports Dolby Volume and offers extensive input flexibility including coaxial, optical, and balanced digital inputs, with the ability to bypass digital processing for pure analog paths.
