The Anthem AVM-20 v2.0 is a state-of-the-art surround sound processor and preamplifier designed for home theater and high-fidelity audio applications. It supports multiple independent audio paths (Main, Zone 2, Zone 3, and Record) allowing simultaneous playback of different sources in different zones. It can process digital inputs including Dolby Digital, DTS, and PCM up to 24-bit/96kHz, and features 192kHz DACs in the v2.0 version. The AVM-20 can digitize 5.1 analog inputs for bass management and apply THX Ultra2 Music processing to DVD-Audio material. It includes individual two-band EQ for each source, password-protected settings, and advanced volume control with power-on and maximum volume limits per path. The unit offers balanced outputs for all channels, balanced analog bypass inputs, and 7.1 RCA analog inputs for outboard processing. It also has coaxial digital outputs that can pass through or digitize analog signals at selectable bit depths and sample rates. The front panel features a master control knob, display, headphone jack with independent volume control, and multiple navigation buttons.
