About the AT6002
The ATI AT6002 is a high-performance stereo power amplifier from ATI's Signature Series, designed by Morris Kessler. It features a fully balanced, dual-mono design with a single input stage and dual-differential output stages, reducing noise by 50%. The amplifier uses current feedback for faster response and virtually unlimited slew rate, ThermalTrak output devices for real-time bias optimization, and dual DC servos to minimize DC offset. It includes dual toroidal transformers, dual power switches, and dual AC power cords for a complete dual-mono design. Rated at 300 watts RMS per channel at 8 ohms and 450 watts RMS at 4 ohms with less than 0.03% total harmonic distortion and a signal-to-noise ratio of 128 dB, it is capable of reproducing the full dynamic range of modern lossless recordings. The amplifier is built with a modular PCB layout isolating AC and signal inputs to improve signal-to-noise performance. It supports inputs via RCA and XLR connectors and outputs through five-way binding posts. The AT6002 is designed to handle demanding music and film soundtracks with high power reserves and silent backgrounds, making it suitable for audiophile and home theater use. Dimensions are approximately 17.25" W x 9.5" H x 18.5" D, weighing about 88 pounds. It carries a seven-year transferable warranty and is assembled in the USA.
