The Akiko Audio Phono Booster is a unique, hand-made device that supports your phono amplifier by effectively reducing high frequency noise and lowering the noise floor without using electrical components or active power filtering. It consists of two compartments filled with a special mix of natural materials stabilized with black resin to suppress microphonic effects, all housed in a thick aluminum case. It connects via a flexible cable to the earthing screw of your record player or phono amplifier and requires no power. The result is a more honest and natural rendering of music, with remarkable improvements in voice and acoustic instrument clarity, increased spaciousness and microdynamics, reduced listening fatigue, and more audible small details, thus conveying more emotion from your records. The device is handmade with silver soldering, gold-plated Hirschmann 4mm banana socket, and includes a 60 cm connection cable. It comes with 4 soft rubber feet and a 10-year factory warranty.
