The AKG D112 MkII is a professional dynamic microphone designed primarily for bass drum and bass guitar applications on stage and in the studio. It features a large diaphragm with a very low resonance frequency, delivering a solid and powerful response below 100 Hz. The microphone can handle sound pressure levels exceeding 160 dB without distortion, making it suitable for loud sound sources. It includes an integrated flexible mount for versatile positioning and an integrated hum-compensation coil to minimize noise.
