The AGD Audion Mkiii is a state-of-the-art monoblock amplifier featuring proprietary GaNTube™ technology that integrates Gallium Nitride MOSFETs fully enclosed in a glass tube, providing exceptional sonic performance and reliability. It delivers 200 watts into 4 ohms and 100 watts into 8 ohms with a dynamic range exceeding 120dB and a noise floor as low as -140dB. The amplifier supports both balanced XLR and single-ended RCA inputs with a standard input impedance of 40k ohms (600 ohms available on request). Its compact dimensions (190 x 140 x 190 mm) and lightweight design (2.5 kg per unit) make it one of the most compact high-end amplifiers available. The power supply includes a 30,000µF super audio grade capacitor reservoir, enabling it to sustain deep bass and deliver fine harmonic detail. The amplifier operates with high efficiency (>94%) and low distortion (<0.005% THD+N at 10W/1kHz). It comes with two monoblocks, power cables, white gloves, and a hard flight case. Available finishes include black, full polished, and satin. The Audion Mkiii is praised for its clarity, resolution, and ability to drive demanding loads with a sound quality comparable to SET designs but with the advantages of modern GaN technology.
