About the Io Eclipse

The Aesthetix Io Eclipse is a high-end all-tube phono stage that offers exceptional performance for the most demanding moving coil and moving magnet cartridges. It features a proprietary differential circuitry design that achieves high gain (up to 80 dB) with extremely low noise and zero global feedback. The unit includes selectable loading from 10 ohms to 47 kohms, and all tube amplification and output using 16 tubes total. A separate vacuum tube regulated power supply with 8 tubes eliminates transformer noise interference. The Eclipse edition uses Peter Moncrief Stealth Capacitors made of exotic copper foil to reduce signal reflections and improve clarity, spatial imaging, and dynamic range. It offers two sets of XLR and RCA outputs per channel and can accept either RCA or XLR inputs. An optional mechanically switched discrete resistor volume control with 46 positions using Roederstein resistors is available for precise volume adjustment. The chassis is made from constrained-layer damped machined aluminum panels for acoustic damping and mechanical noise reduction. The Io Eclipse is available in customizable finishes and can be factory upgraded from other Io versions.
