About the Atlas Eclipse Monoblocks
The Aesthetix Atlas Eclipse Monoblocks are the top-level mono versions of the Atlas hybrid power amplifier, designed to drive virtually any high-quality loudspeaker with very high power and exceptional transparency. They use an innovative hybrid topology with a vacuum tube input gain stage (6SN7) feeding bipolar driver and bipolar output stages in a fully differential, zero-feedback design. In mono configuration they are rated at 300 watts into 8 ohms and 550–600 watts into 4 ohms, providing very wide bandwidth (4Hz–150kHz) and low distortion suitable for demanding speakers. A built-in 6dB/octave high-pass crossover with 16 selectable settings from 40Hz to 200Hz allows flexible integration with subwoofers or bi-amped systems, with a choice of full-range or high-pass inputs. Connectivity includes both single-ended (RCA) and balanced (XLR) inputs, and the amplifiers are available in black or silver finishes. As the Eclipse version, they incorporate upgraded, higher-grade components and construction for improved refinement, and are widely regarded as delivering elite high-end sound quality.
