The Aerial Acoustics SW12 is a front-ported, bass-reflex, remote-controlled powered subwoofer renowned for its solid, quick, and precise bass extension to below 20Hz. Featuring a 12.5-inch cast aluminum alloy frame driver with a rigid anodized aluminum cone, massive magnet structure, 3-inch voice coil, and dual suspension enabling nearly 2 inches of linear excursion, it weighs 30 lbs for the driver alone. Powered by a 400W high-current, fully symmetrical discrete amplifier with <0.05% THD, it includes extensive controls such as parametric EQ (30-100Hz, 0.2-1.5 octaves, ±10dB), variable damping, low-pass (30-100Hz), high-pass (40-100Hz with 6/12dB/oct slopes), and remote functions for power, level, mute, EQ, and more. Highly flexible for mono, stereo, or multi-channel setups with unified control, it supports custom integration via DB-25, IR, and 12V triggers. The heavily braced MDF cabinet (1-2 inch walls, 50mm front baffle) ensures minimal resonance. Dimensions: 25 x 14 x 23 inches (635 x 356 x 584 mm). Optional 24 lb sand-filled steel base and finishes like Santos Rosewood available. No longer manufactured.
