The Aerial Acoustics 10T loudspeaker is a three-way, floor-standing speaker system with independently optimized enclosures for bass and midrange/tweeter modules. The upper range head is cast from dense Novalith Stone Composite, making it acoustically inert and optimally shaped to minimize baffle area around the drivers. The bass enclosure features thick 1" and 2" walls with extensive internal bracing for rigidity. The midrange driver uses two Kevlar cones laminated with epoxy for strength and damping, while the woofer employs a rigid, damped fiber bilaminate cone. Both drivers have cast frames, large magnets, and long linear travel for low distortion and high power handling. The titanium dome tweeter is rear-loaded by a large multi-vented chamber. The crossover networks use high-quality components such as polypropylene capacitors, air-core coils, nickel-steel cores, and gold-plated bi-wire terminals on glass-fiber circuit boards, ensuring seamless amplitude and phase integration. The system delivers a frequency response of 28 Hz to 20 kHz ±2 dB, with -6 dB at 23 Hz, and sensitivity around 86 dB/W/m. The speaker's sound is characterized by outstanding bass authority and control, clear and natural midrange, and delicate, detailed treble with excellent transparency, dynamics, and vivid 3D imaging. The midrange/tweeter module can rotate approximately 270 degrees for optimal sound focus. Dimensions are approximately 41.5" H x 13.75" W x 19" D, with a shipping weight around 190 lbs. The 10T is praised for its musicality, detail, speed, and presence, making it suitable for critical listening and revealing the quality of upstream equipment. Original finishes include black-painted walnut veneer, and the speakers come with original grilles and specially designed Sound Anchor bases. Price
