The AER MD-3 Alnico (also referenced as MD3B) is a premium full-range driver designed for high-fidelity horn loudspeakers. It is recognized for its high sensitivity (around 95-100 dB) and wide frequency response, delivering deep bass and clear highs with low distortion. The driver features an Alnico magnet, which contributes to its dynamic and musical sound character. It is often used in single-driver horn speaker designs, providing an amplifier-friendly 16 Ohm load and a working bandwidth from approximately 50 Hz to 20 kHz.
