About the TRX-II
The ADC TRX-II is an induced-magnet moving magnet phono cartridge known for its high-quality sound reproduction. It features a nude PH line contact stylus (Vital III) mounted on a sapphire tube cantilever, which contributes to its precise tracking and detailed audio performance. The cartridge has an output voltage of 3mV and offers excellent channel balance within 0.5dB and channel separation greater than 30dB. It covers a wide frequency response range from 20Hz to 30,000Hz, making it suitable for detailed and dynamic vinyl playback. The recommended tracking force is 1.2 grams, and it requires a load resistance of 47K ohms. The cartridge weighs 6.5 grams, making it compatible with most standard tonearms. The ADC TRX-II was released around 1983 and is no longer manufactured, but it remains highly regarded among audiophiles for its sound quality and build.
