About the UNI-P2S
The UNI-P2S is a versatile, high-precision positioning and measuring tool designed for use with phono tonearms and turntables. It allows precise measurement of the mounting distance (pivot-to-spindle distance) of any tonearm, ensuring correct mounting according to specifications. It is compatible with all pivot tonearms regardless of effective length or geometry. The UNI-P2S also enables users to draw arcs for optimal tonearm positioning on plinths or armboards, mark drilling holes with a stainless steel pin, and locate the perfect center of the tonearm using a reticule with cross-hairs. It works directly with the UNI-Protractor alignment tool and offers an accuracy of 0.05 mm in read-out thanks to a specially designed vernier scale. The instrument is manufactured and assembled in Germany by Acoustical Systems and was designed by D.D. Brakemeier.
