About the RGC-24K
The Acoustic Revive RGC-24K is a grounding conditioner / virtual ground device designed to improve audio system performance by creating a stable artificial ground for connected components. It connects to the chassis ground (or an unused RCA input via the supplied adapter) using the included solid-core grounding cable and does not require an external power supply. Internally, it uses a blend of natural minerals, including Kiyoh-stone (Kiyoh-seki), tourmaline, quartz and other piezoelectric crystals with a negative potential, to absorb and drain unwanted electrical potential and electric field components away from the audio circuitry. This reduces noise, hum and electromagnetic interference, and helps stabilize circuit operation, which can enhance perceived S/N ratio, imaging, depth and soundstage. The compact disc-shaped unit (approx. 88 mm diameter, 16-18 mm thick, ~384 g) is housed in a machined aluminum chassis with a brass base, and is typically placed near or under the audio component's power transformer while its cable is attached to the component's ground terminal or chassis.
