The Accuphase E-530 integrated amplifier represents the pinnacle of pure Class A amplification technology from Accuphase, incorporating their sophisticated design knowledge and high-quality components. It uses power MOS-FET devices arranged in a triple parallel push-pull output stage driven in pure Class A, providing a linear power output of 120 watts into 2 ohms, 60 watts into 4 ohms, and 30 watts into 8 ohms. The amplifier features a large toroidal power transformer and massive high-quality filtering capacitors to ensure stable and ample power supply. Both the preamplifier and power amplifier sections employ Accuphase's renowned current feedback topology, ensuring superb phase characteristics and sonic transparency. The E-530 includes tone controls, loudness compensation, analog power meters with logarithmic compression, and supports two sets of loudspeakers. It also offers playback/record connections for two recorders and balanced inputs. Optional digital input and analog disc input boards can be installed for enhanced functionality. The amplifier measures 475 mm (W) x 180 mm (H) x 423 mm (D) and weighs approximately 23.4 kg. It was released in 2002 and is highly regarded for its detailed, expressive sound with excellent soundstage, depth, and midrange performance, particularly suited for classical music and acoustic instruments.
