The Accuphase E-470 is a high-end stereo integrated amplifier, succeeding the E-460, featuring separate preamplifier and power amplifier sections for optimal performance. It employs revolutionary AAVA (Accuphase Analog Vari-gain Amplifier) volume control for outstanding signal-to-noise ratio and low distortion across all volume levels. The power amplifier uses triple parallel push-pull power MOSFETs in Class AB, delivering robust power handling for low-impedance loads, with Balanced Remote-Sensing for enhanced damping and minimal distortion. Key features include POWER IN function for independent pre/power use, tone/balance controls, loudness compensation, attenuator, phase/mono settings, two speaker outputs, headphone amp, and optional boards (AD-30 phono, DAC-40). Inputs: 5x RCA unbalanced line, 2x XLR balanced, tape loop, pre-out/main-in. It excels in low noise (ultra-low 34μV), high resolution, bass control, and musicality, no longer manufactured.
