The Accuphase DP-65V is a high-fidelity CD player manufactured in Japan from 1997 to 2004. It features a 20-bit Multiple Multi-Bit (MMB) digital-to-analog converter with four 20-bit DACs operating in parallel, enabling precise level attenuation without loss of quality. The unit has separate transport and digital processor sections, allowing connection of external digital sources via coaxial and optical inputs. It offers fully balanced analog output circuitry for pure sound reproduction and includes a digital level control to prevent sound quality deterioration. The DP-65V supports various disc formats including CD, CD-R, and CD-RW, and is known for its fast disc reading and excellent handling of bass and high frequencies. It comes with a remote control (RC-18) and has a robust chassis design to minimize vibration. The player is finished in champagne color and weighs 17.7 kg.
