The Abbingdon Music Research DP-777 is a premier-class digital-to-analog converter and processor housed in a robust aluminum chassis. It features a unique Gemini Digital Engine with two DAC chips: a Wolfson 32-bit DAC optimized for high-resolution audio and a Philips UDA1305 16-bit DAC for standard CD-quality playback. The DP-777 employs a valve-based analog output stage using Russian 6H1n-EV dual-triode tubes for amplification and a 6H11P tube for the SPDIF input amplifier, which helps maintain a clean digital signal waveform.
