Stereolab is an Anglo-French avant-pop band founded in 1990 by Tim Gane and Lætitia Sadier. Renowned for their innovative blend of krautrock, vintage electronics, French pop, and experimental rock, Stereolab pioneered a unique sound combining repetitive motorik rhythms, vintage synthesizers, and multi-lingual vocals. Their influential discography includes critically acclaimed albums like 'Transient Random-Noise Bursts with Announcements' and 'Dots and Loops.' After a decade-long hiatus, the band reunited in 2019 and released 'Instant Holograms on Metal Film' in 2025, cementing their legacy as genre-defining innovators in indie and art rock music.
