Sound Valves was a HiFi audio brand established in the 1990s in Columbus, Ohio, following Dynaco ceasing the sale of DIY kits. The company was known for producing tube-based amplifiers, notably the M60, M60i, M60C, and M40, many of which were essentially modernized successors to revered Dynaco models. Sound Valves products featured proprietary circuit design, high-quality hand-matched tubes, and robust transformers, appealing to audiophiles who valued musical accuracy and robust build quality. The brand also reissued reproductions of classic Dynaco amplifiers and preamplifiers until ceasing operations around the early 2000s.
