Known for robust build quality and value-oriented, feature-rich products, Sherbourn catered to both audiophiles and home theater enthusiasts, often competing with brands like Arcam and NAD. The company was acquired by Jade Design (parent of Emotiva Audio) in 2010, after which operations were integrated and some Sherbourn technologies and models continued under Emotiva.
