About Mutech
Mutech is a Japanese high-end phono cartridge maker founded by Eiji Kanda in 2012, specializing in moving-coil cartridges built around a distinctive yokeless ring-magnet motor design. Its models, such as the RM-Kanda Hayabusa, use boron cantilevers and semi-line-contact styli and are distributed internationally (e.g. via Mockingbird Distribution and Nirvana Sound). Mutech is unrelated to the German digital-clock manufacturer MUTEC.
