Museatex was a Canadian high-end audio brand renowned for its innovative designs and exceptional sonic performance, led by noted designer Ed Meitner. Throughout the 1980s and early 1990s, Museatex and its Melior line became known for components that combined the musicality and tonal richness associated with vacuum tubes with the precision and detail of solid-state devices. While the company is no longer operational, its products—such as the Bidat D/A converter and Melior amplifiers—are still highly regarded and supported by an enthusiast community.
