About Fried Products
Fried Products was a notable American HiFi audio brand, established by Irving M. Fried, widely recognized for innovative loudspeaker designs in the 1970s and 1980s. The brand became known for introducing transmission line speakers and providing advanced, affordable audio equipment lauded by audiophiles. Key products included the IMF and later Fried-branded loudspeakers, with a legacy rooted in performance-oriented engineering and substantial influence in the evolution of high-fidelity speaker design. Operations and direct branding by Fried Products appear to have ceased, but their speakers remain highly regarded in vintage audio communities.
