About Bendix
Bendix was the vacuum tube manufacturing arm of Bendix Aviation Corporation, an American industrial and aerospace conglomerate active through the mid-20th century. Its Red Bank, New Jersey electron tube division produced vacuum tubes for military, radar and communications use, including submarine and industrial-grade types. The division was wound down decades ago and the tubes are now collected as vintage/NOS parts. Note: bendix.com today belongs to Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems, a truck brake-systems company unrelated to this historic tube maker (famous-namesake trap).
