Axiom Audio is a Canadian manufacturer of high-fidelity loudspeakers and audio electronics, established in 1980 by Ian Colquhoun. Located in Dwight, Muskoka, Ontario, Axiom designs and builds a broad range of wired and wireless speakers, amplifiers, and home theater systems—many of which feature proprietary engineering, such as custom drivers and omnidirectional sound designs. Known for a science-based approach utilizing double-blind listening and anechoic chamber testing, Axiom pioneered direct-to-consumer online sales in high-end audio and maintains in-house manufacturing to ensure quality. The company has also collaborated with Bryston for certain speaker models and is recognized for flexibility in customization to meet specific installation needs.
