Advent was an American HiFi audio brand founded by Henry Kloss in 1967, best known for its innovative and influential loudspeakers and audio equipment. The Advent Loudspeaker, introduced in 1969, became a popular and affordable high-fidelity speaker, helping to set new standards in sound quality for a mass market. Advent also developed notable products like the Advent 201 cassette deck and later ventured into the video display market. The brand played a key role in popularizing high-quality, affordable audio in the 1970s, before eventually fading from the consumer market. The Advent name remains significant in HiFi history.
