Acrotec was a Japanese audio-cable brand that made speaker, signal, digital, and power cables, including the 8N-A2080 RCA interconnect. It originated as an in-house venture of Japan Mining and entered the audio market in 1989; its business was transferred to Acro Japan in 2003, after which Acrolink became the successor brand.
